Help! - what do all these new fancy buttons mean?

RSS Feeds allow you to see if website content has been updated without actually visiting the site. You can 'subscribe' to the rss feed using a tool such as google reader. We use rss feed updates to show when new pages or photo galleries have been added to the site.

Twitter is a micro-blogging service that allow user to post 'tweets' to their followers. You can post anything that you like from videos, images or just random thoughts! We use twitter to keep in touch with existing members, inform them of upcoming events and even to reach potential members. You can follow anything and anyone you like - its not limited to a single intrest. If you are really new to twitter we would recommend reading the twitter basics section of the offcial twitter help.

Facebook is the worlds largest social network with over 450 million users! The regiment has a group on facebook to both promote our regiment and the English Civil War Society as a whole. We use the facebook group to post updates on planned events and for a bit of light hearted entertainment!

Facebook Like Button

The Like button enables users to make connections to our website and share content back to their friends on Facebook with one click. Once you have 'liked' this website posts from our regimental facebook group will be displayed in your newsfeed where you can comment, like etc on them just as any other post on facebook.
